A look back at last 6 mths....sorry.

Adding #2 and Josh's company increasing his travel time has made this fall a challenge to say the least hopefully we will not go this long updating in the future. Despite all its' craziness, the last few months have been packed with lots of fun and many adventures too! Enjoy!

AUGUST: We added cousin Joe Burgin to the mix and tried to work on some sort of schedule with 2 :) ha

SEPTEMBER: Abigail started preschool at our church and we head to the beach with the Dowis crew

Meeting Great g'ma for 1st time

What a 2 mth old does at the beach

Sweet friends Jessica and scott came to visit and lend a hand:)

1st MD appt for two...barely survived.

1st attempt at panties not quite got the idea down

OCTOBER....family, festivals & pumpkins Oh my!

First...1st friday concert :)

Finally taking to ice cream, I was beginning to wonder if this was my child :)

Just relaxing in a huge pile of corn

Helping daddy plant some fall flowers. Until the bees came out, then she ran.

Attempt at family photo after church....which ended up as part of Christmas card.

Good 'ole Monroe Fall festival....
Abigail has her daddy wrapped around her fingers as my usually frugal,
or shall I say financially wise husband was convinced into letting her ride the pony 2 times :)

At the pumpkin patch

My little helper....loved the marker part of carving but not so much anything else.

Posing with her pumpkin and "friends".

Sunday after one of the few games we won this year...
Just for the record she can call the dawgs, hum and dance to the fight song &
even hike a football. Thank you Josh for letting even your little girls in on the fun.

Little sisterly love :)

School festival....the apple jacks were gone faster than it took to put on:)

Also in OCT. we had Kayleigh's Dedication.....Oh how we praise the Lord for her!

"Know therefore, that the LORD your God, is God. The faithful God keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him & keep His commands." - Deut. 7:9
NOVEMBER: Hollywood, CA and Beuna Vista, GA

That's correct....I got pretty tired of Josh leaving us for travel so when he was heading to LA and joked about us tagging along;  after a little contemplating and investigating being the pratical people we are we decided to throw all praticalness out the window and jump on,  mind you 2 seperate planes (all we could get last min) and fly our whole family across the Nation....wasn't so bad until Me and Kayleigh had to sprint 2 miles with stroller in Phenoix, AZ to not miss our connecting flight, and Abigail got sick and threw up all over Josh on their leg from Atlanta to Salt Lake, UT. Either way as crazy as it all was we met back up in LA and had a blast! Until the flight home which we were together Praise the Lord and hit a "mountain wave" you can look it up....we pretty much after a 30sec free fall thought we were all going to meet Jesus that night! But the pilot pulled us through, to allow Abigail to throw up all over me this time and we made it safely home. :)

Quick trip to LA Zoo

Nothing like swimming outside in Nov.

Our debute at Kodak theater...american idol has nothing on the Dowis girls!

One tired out girl....
and yes we are those crazy parents that took our 4mth and 1yr old
downtown Hollywood at 8pm, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Worn out after week in LA living it up...
she slept the whole time waiting in line at the airport up until they made us wake her up to go through security...do security people not understand what it does to parents to wake a sleeping child...apparently not!

THANKSGIVING TIME and good old hoe down the with Huggins Family Band

Well, I guess that is it since my dear hubby posted Dec. already including
Abigail's 2nd  B-day & Christmas! Nothing like getting it all at once :)
Happy New Year....
