Abigail Rose Dowis was born on Friday December 19th at 5:43P.M. She entered into this world exactly 43 minutes after we franticly arrived at Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, GA. I swiftly skirted through two lane traffic to get a my laboring "transitioning" bride to the hospital. Her contractions changed from being 10 minutes apart to only 2 minutes apart just before 4:30 leaving us little time to make our 2o mile trek to the hospital. Because Jennifer was so far dialated when we arrived, our baby girl had to arrive au-natural. Other than a little oxygen help when she arrived, Abigail has been healthy from the start.
Our little miracle decided to come a little more than 5 weeks early. Baby and Mommy are doing great and we are moment by moment rejoicing in the significance of this gift. We are so thankful for the multitude of prayers that have surrounded our baby girl from the start. We are so excited about beginning this journey with our girl and she can't wait to meet each of you.
So much for our due date countdown right...
